Ask a GP provides access to Australian General Practitioners (GPs) for quick questions, or if you’re not sure whether to visit your treating GP. You can ask your medical questions any time and one of our GP’s will respond in writing within 24 hours. The service can be used as many times as needed.

This is not an emergency service. If you are feeling unwell we advise you to contact your local emergency services (000 in Australia).

Ask a GP supports your treating doctor. It does not aim to replace them. If you require prescriptions or referrals you will need to visit your treating doctor.

Our GPs also help to identify if any of our other services can assist you to help manage any other medical concerns.

Who can use this service?

Best Doctors services are exclusive to Bupa Silver Plus Hospital and Gold Hospital products. These products are no longer available for sale to new or existing members.

How does it work?

Once you've completed the form, you'll be connected with one of our GPs.

  • 2 GP reviews question

    We allocate one of our Australian GP’s to review and respond to your question.

  • 3 Get answers to your medical questions

    The GP will respond to your question in writing within 24 hours and you’ll be notified by email that your answers are ready for you to review in your Best Doctors account.

You can ask our GPs any questions about your health from the comfort of your own home.
